We're in love with the The Optimist fireplace surround from MATERIAL’s Donna Mondi collection. There’s nothing else quite like it. In true Atelier fashion, we couldn’t resist taking something as classic as MATERIAL’S Gables fireplace and using it in a funkier setting, showing that you can take anything old and make it new! When embarking on a remodel, we don’t trash elements that are original to the home and can be made timeless for any design style - the same philosophy rings true with the Gables fireplace. It would be stunner in a traditional home, but we envisioned it in a globe-trotter’s study, surrounded by vibrant patterns and tantalizing textures.
